I’m not a photographer. I take photos of my bike leaning against stuff. It turns out, lots of cyclists do this. There are multiple “bikes leaning on stuff” groups on Facebook (I’m in one called “Look at my Bicycle Leaning Against Stuff.”) Still, lack of photography ambitions aside, I do like how some of my pics turn out. I like this one, the second one I took in Pismo Beach, California. Yesterday, I posted my bike leaning on the Pismo City Limits sign. Today’s picture is my bike down at the beach proper, also taken while exploring the town during the 2024 Project Hero California Challenge. I DNF’d (Did Not Finish,) I just couldn’t keep up with the pace of the peloton, so I dropped out and helped load/unload/sort luggage/set up the mechanics stations at the motels before setting out on my own to explore. From what I saw, Pismo Beach is a really nice little town, worthy of its accolades. Since I used up my California Challenge video last night, the link is a short from a newscast recognizing Pismo Beach as the #1 Small Coastal Town:

Let me see my gallery if I have a picture of one of my bikes leaning on to something. And hopefully succeed in attaching it here.

@teamfreak16 I do but I failed to upload it. So I took a picture of the photo on my computer with my phone to lower down the resolution so I could successfully attached it here. The watermark is my IG name. It's just 1.7mb and still mylot isn't allowing me to post it. I might try again later.

Good idea to take the time to look around the town while you were there.

We usually had a couple of hours of free time after we got everything unloaded and set up, so it was either ride my bike around or just sit there and be lazy.

I bet it was. I haven't "hung out" at an ocean beach since I was in Panama in 1992.. I've been to lake beaches, but have never lived close-enough to an ocean.
