I stuck to my promise

How did your 4th of July go? hope every 1 had a safe & good 4th
we didn't do anything special, other than worked on the cabin & it's
coming along slow but getting there, we have the main wall done
which is the "outside wall to the kitchen part" to start the roof of the
shelter, where the pond is going just outside my kitchen windows.
Now we start putting the post in the ground to start the roof work.
I went to my primary Dr the other day to have a interview with him
being he's my NEW Dr now since my other 1 left to another area
& after a hr of talking to him & him looking over my chart he was
very surprised at how well I have been doing since my health crash.
May of 2023 I crashed like a ton of bricks cause of my Gallbladder
that attacked my Pancreas, liver, kidneys, & I died twice from it all
& 3 yrs later I have fought with everything I had to get back on my
feet & get off some of the meds they have put me on & SO FAR
I'm gaining ground with my health everyday, that I'm doing a LOT
better, where My Dr says I'm doing so good he thinks it's best I
get off the fast acting Insulin & just stay on my meds & the LONG
acting insulin just take it everyday at the same time & keep active.
I keep active & I take my meds everyday at the same time & my
long acting shot the same time everyday & watch what I eat as
well cause THAT has a BIG effect on my sugar so that helps too.
I still have to see my sugar Dr today but if he agrees with my
primary Dr of taking me off my fast acting Insulin that will be a
milestone I have gotton off of & THAT'S a big milestone I've
been working on since the day I got out of the hosp. 
I may have to stay on my meds they have me on for the rest
of my life but I can handle that better than I can doing shots
everyday, so when he said he want's to take me off the fast
acting insulin I was speechless I was SO GLAD to hear that.
So I have stuck to my promise I made to myself to fight hard
to get off the shots & show them I'm not giving up for anything
I'm a strong willed hard headed person I just don't give up.
I won't just stop doing what I've been doing up to this point
cause of the great news, I'll keep doing what I've been doing
cause I KNOW if I stop I know I could have it all reverse &
that's NOT what I need to happen, not after getting this far.
So with that said, I hope every 1 has a great safe weekend
& never take your health for granted, cause it could turn in
a heartbeat for the worse & never recover from it.

You mentioned roof work which me of our leaking roof. The other day I called up my grandson carpenter to repair our leaking roof. And together with his youngest brother, they finished half day. We're saved by the heavy pouring rains brought by suoer typhoon Bavi or Inday.early in the morning. So no more leak. Sound sleep.

@Nakitakona Yea I know, a lot of pure 2 faced lying people
you tell them what you're trying to do & they'll stand there
& tell you that they'll be there "SURE YOU WILL" WHAT DAY ?
oh tomorrow, then you wait & wait & wait & they never show.

thank you, my sugar doctor didn't
agree with my primary Dr, but he did say to
just use my fast acting as needed, so that's better
than what he's been saying all this time.1 person likes this

insulin as much as I can & I've managed that.

No he didn't, but what he did say was
being that I'm keeping my sugar in target
to just take it when it gets too high after
4 hrs. after eating, which he didn't say
any other time till now, SO if that's the case
That tells me my pancreas is getting better
where I don't have to rely on my fast acting
insulin as much like I was, & that's a good thing.
