So I met my latest grandson today. He’s called Taghd, which is pronounced T-eye-g. Go figure. I left baby, mother and grandmother in a cafe to talk obstetrics and I went abimbling with another daughter around the cafes of Manchester in punishing heat and unrelenting sunshine. Thankfully the house we’re staying in has a large, shady garden although there’s hardly a breeze. There’s also an outdoor bar which would be lovely if it had been looked after properly. So this afternoon will be spent in the garden with a cold Indian beer.

Large, shady gardens are a godsend.

Well, that’s certainly a unique name. I don’t think I’ve ever heard it. I’m sure it was a joy to see another grand baby.

I think it's Tadhg! We have friends with a son the same age as Big One, and he's called Tadhg.
