Doing a Sleep Study Tonight

They're going to determine how my Sleep Apnea is going because it's been 10 years since I've had a sleep study. I use a CPAP. There might be a "dental device" I can use instead of the CPAP but they won't know until they get the results of the study. This sleep study will be done in my own home. I have to go pick up the equipment and be given a short tutorial on how to use it at 9 am today. Then I'll conduct the sleep study from home overnight and I have to return the equipment tomorrow by the end of the day. Have you ever done a sleep study?

I did but years ago in a lab setting. I fell asleep more or less right away.. I am surprised you still need a sleep apnea machine with all the weight you lost. It seems like it would be unnecessary at this point. You weren't that overweight to begin with. I would ask them if it is still necessary

Nope. I couldn't imagine that you're having a sleep apnea and it took you 10 years of such study.

I haven’t. I’m glad you can do it at home.

I've never done a sleep study but being able to do it at home sounds a lot more convenient than the way they used to do it.
