Thursday Ramblings

Happy Thursday Everyone! I got up to sunshine and now it's raining 
We need the rain but guess it's good that it's not a storm. The lawn crew are still buzzing around so I guess the rain isn't deterring them from todays lawn care.
I sold one of my blue baby blankets so that has to be wrapped up and be ready to go in the mail tomorrow. For some reason this one particular blue blanket is very popular. I'm certainly not complaining as I'm happy to keep making this particular blanket and will never turn away extra $$$ But, it would be nice to be able to make something different 
At least I can watch tv while I crochet and I am rewatching season one of The Bear. It's been too long and I totally forgot most of what was going on so rewatching is helping before getting into the next season.
Yesterday afternoon I finally had a real life phone chat with my bestie. Although we text and follow each other on Instagram it was nice to finally have time to talk in person. She is always on the go and probably one of the busiest people I know. So I usually wait for her to call when she has time and yesterday was my lucky day. We had some laughs and I'm still smiling today.
Its really sad that we don't live close to each other anymore but one of these days we'll actually plan a get together.
This day is already flying by and I just finished my coffee. Yup it was cold since it's been sitting here for awhile
Still have to figure out what to make for dinner. That's usually the hardest decision of the day

This morning was mostly sunny here, and still seems to be, but we're supposed to get rained on, too. I really should get out there and give the grass another going over with the mower set at its usual setting but I don't feel like it. Maybe tomorrow, if it doesn't rain.

It always feels good to talk to a best friend. I’m so glad you got to. Man, I wish we lived close by. You could teach me how to make a blanket, and maybe some day I could think of something to teach you. Not likely I know something you don’t, but I like to think I could be slightly useful.
