The Uniform Challenges at the Foster Home

Long ago somewhere I read about school children, especially boys, returning home with dirty uniforms, muddied shoes and socks and sometimes even with torn shirt pockets etc. It's raining in Bengal . The playground is wet . There are little pools on the paths. The other day I saw four 9 to 11 year-old girls jumping in the pools, trying to splash muddy water on each other. They were giggling happily and their happiness doubled when they succeeded in splashing muddy water on their uniform.
My foster son in the foster care home is " typically special" in those counts.Rarely passes a day when his shirt is not smeared with ink or his trouser with mud. Today , I found more ink spots on his dress.
Every morning is a tense time for me when I have to find a clean uniform shirt and pant for Akash. He must have at least two sets of uniform to go to his school tidy and clean. The foster home office has given him one set. Sometimes, I send him to school in last year's set which have become a tad short for him. What else could I do to help him.
Complaints against him come every now and then from the school. I try to resolve the problems as best as I can but I am constrained by my limits. I just face unpleasant situations stoically. I will continue this way as long as I can.

You are doing such a wonderful service to these children. I hope they will appreciate later, if not now, just how much you have done for them.
Maybe make the boy rinse out his own clothes when he get home from school. He might learn to take better care of his clothes.
