There’s Nothing Like Easy to Open Prescription Bottles

Some of my prescriptions had caps on them that were difficult for my old lady hands to open Them I remembered that most prescriptions are filled in child safety caps so that kids can’t accidentally open and take medication and overdose or die So I left a voice mail message at the pharmacy about two weeks ago asking if they could mark my profile to fill my prescriptions in easy to open containers Today was my first need to refill medication and sure enough it is in an easy to open plastic bottle

Those child proof bottles are hard to open, I agree. I had them request the easy to open lids for us. Last time they said they were out of those and were sorry, so I had to settle for the child proof ones. I absolutely hate when I struggle to get bottles, jars, etc. open.

After the first time, if you don't close the cap fully it will not lock.

Isn’t THAT the truth. I know it’s expensive but DANG I wish they’d make bottles for families (hard to open) AND bottles for old folks with no kids in the house. Some of the prescription bottles have those two-headed caps, but not all of the ones from the VA do.

Glad they took heed of your request. Those child-safe caps normally require a child to open them for you
