I think I went a bit overboard with all my planting ….
We won’t talk about the courgettes !
I planted basil ….several basil …..quite a lot of several basil …..infact, it’s produced several plants which are all growing like Billy Oh !
I have been watching a local lady on fb who is really into her cooking and cookery tips ….
I was going to dehydrate some basil in the air fryer, but she says, NO , you just lay the leaves out on kitchen roll and place them where the air can get all around.
I put the leaves on kitchen roll, on plates , then in the oven ( not on )….yep, it worked.
I just crumbled the dried leaves and put in a jar ….thats saved me money straight away….
Dried herbs or fresh ….?

@traceyjayne Fresh, but if it’s not available my own dried herbs will do fine. In Manchester we suffered 35 degree heat yesterday and I feel as shrivelled up as dried basil. I wish someone would switch the oven off.

They do seem to be taking over ….luckily they are in a patch away from other things, it’s just the size of the leaves ….they could take over the world if I’m not careful.
