Mother in Law is Really Struggling With Reality

You’ll remember that my mother in law accused my husband of stealing her earrings Sister and brother in law found them in her bathroom drawer where she’d put them before taking a shower But mother in law finds their finding of the earrings suspicious. So she has invented the story that my husband reported the theft to the staff and somebody felt guilty and snuck the earrings back into her drawer Apparently she had a meltdown with hubby’s brother yesterday crying and saying she hates where she lives and that nothing’s wrong with her. She’s never done that with the brother before, just us. It’s sad to watch her deteriorate
