My mother and I watched Sapphire Blue. It is the sequel to Ruby Red and the second book. No, I still haven't read the books series which is by Kerstin Gier. The movie has Josefine Preuß, Florian Bartholomäi, Karl Walter Sprungala, Peter Simonischek, Maria Ehrich, Jannis Niewöhner, Veronica Ferres, and Laura Berlin in it. Big Warning: there is a little bit of violence and a plot twist. Spoiler Below In this movie, Gwendolyn and Gideon falls heavily for each other, but things go awry in their relationship. Gideon goes back in the past and thinks Gwendolyn is cheating on him with Paul. Paul and Lucy are time travelers too. But they are staying ion the past because they stole one of the time machines so the bad people can't cause something bad happening (I don't know what it is exactly. I hope the third movie will explain more in detail.). Gwendolyn also doesn't tell Gideon that she is investigating on her own about why they took the machine. Gwendolyn also sees a gargoyle demon. (He is a CGI creature who is supposed give comedy relief. I don't find him funny. I think the author should have stuck with ghosts instead. Supposedly she can use this gargoyle demon as a spy. He is also annoying too. He keeps asking a a kitten or a puppy.) Anyway, Gwendolyn finds out Lucy and Paul are actually her parents. (My mother figured this out before I figured it out) So her mother is actually her aunt. She gets upset about it, but later she tells her aunt top keeping being her mom. The bad people find out about this and so does Gideon. So he understands that what he said was a mistake. But then Gwendolyn also finds out that Gideon had agreed with one of the bad people to get her to fall in love with him. Then they break up, but she finds out that in the future they get back together. My mother and I liked this movie. We are watching next Emerald Green which is the third movie and third book.
