A Lesson

Every Tuesday we have a weekly vegetable market here. Farmers from far and nearby villages bring their stock to sell here. Every Tuesday they come here with the vegetables fresh from their fields, sell them and leave for their homes before sunset.
If you go to the outskirts of our town early in the morning, you will see village girls carrying baskets of fresh vegetables over their heads laughing and cracking jokes and proceeding towards the town.
These girls are from poor families, but you can see a joy on their faces and in their playful activities.
They live in villages, among jungles and nature all around. They don't want much to survive happily. They are happy with whatever they have.
Sometimes I buy some vegetables from them when I'm on my way back home.
I have learned from them a valuable lesson. We needn't have much to live happily and peacefully.

I fully agree with you. I know many wealthy persons who are not happy. They are dissatisfied with their lives.
