Awesome Day

Woke up no nausea at all. Shower, breakfast, 2 prednisone instead of 3. Took my meds, fed the kids...watched General Hospital, got ready and went to my Oncologist. He went over some test results, and explained my treatments. I have 4 treatments to go. Then he showed me some stats and told me the results show I am doing very well, and from the looks of this data my chances are VERY good that this regiment they are doing will work. BUT..if it doesn't we will do radiation. But I really have only one target for that, and THAT was the other good news, because there are 3 areas to target normally, but I am only showing one area. Yay Me! Since taking prednisone my pain level is as good or better than if I had taken my 800mg Ibprofen. I walked to the building for my appointment and my back didn't hurt..was out of breath when I got to the office, but no pain. YAAAY! Went to Tractor Supply and got bird food, and went home. Tom was working on the truck. I went out there and helped him hold the flashlight. He dropped something that went under the truck and I actually got on my knees to look for it...something that last week I couldn't have done. I am LOVING Prednisone. My Blood Sugar was 87 today. I had lost 7 pounds...I am thinking WATER...stomach is not feeling hard and feet are still normal. Never happens with my water pills when I took them. Weird isn't it? BUT..can not take Prednisone while I am doing Chemo as it also depletes your immune system. It attacks the cancer cells, but lowers the immune system...That is weird as well. But he said to take it for now so I can get better. Port goes in July 23rd. Next treatment with less Steroids on the 28th. I found a bag of Mexican Street Corn POPCORN at Tractor Supply...It was good, but wouldn't want it every day like my Tostitos Had leftover Shrimp Alfreda and watermelon for supper..

I’ve know some people who had chemo who wore mask’s suiting treatment to keep as healthy as possible. I’m just so glad you are feeling better right now!
