It’s not that I wasn’t thinking about not offending anyone, but I was not thinking about not offending anyone. Then I remembered the lyrics. Then I remembered the single, a “clean” version. 1 - 2 -3 - 4 Here’s today’s tune: “Not Now John” by Pink Floyd. “Not Now John” is from Pink Floyd’s 1983 album, The Final Cut (their 12th.) Roger Waters and David Gilmour both handle vocal duties, and the psychedelic prog band sounds about as angry and revved up as some hard-rocking protest band that’s really good at sounding like Pink Floyd. This ain’t “Wish You Were Here.” Or “Mother,” for that matter. I said this is the “clean” version. Call it the “stuff” version. The album version is chock-full of the use of a word that begins with “F” and was replaced with “stuff” for the radio single. Sadly, I ended up thinking I should not link to that one.
