Emergency dental floss and toothpicks

We ran out of dental floss the other day and we use the rollled type dental floss and its a bit expensive here . So mom told me that for the mean time we dont have dental floss and that she is using the yarn fir sewing as a temporary dental floss. The problem is, we are on a budget this month and that I am thinking of ways on how I can buy dental floss in a reasonable price. I checked online deals and I was lucky I found a seller and placed the order immediately. Its a different kind of dental floss, its not the rolled one and it has toothpick on the other side. Mom told me she is having a hard time using the new dental floss , I guess she is not that used to it because this is new .,I tried using it and it was okay to me. If you or your family is on a budget and there is an emergency that you need to buy something out of your budget would you spare some money from your budget?
