45 days until the ber months. Maybe a month until the humidity starts to wind down a bit. Anyway, last night (actually earlier this morning) I had a nightmare right before I woke up. I was on this road that runs along side the development. Only the bottom half of it is paved. There are also not a lot of houses on the approximately one mile until the road ends. I go up there sometimes to look for wildlife, hoping I might see a bear asleep in a tree or something..but generally nothing more exotic that a deer, but anyway, in my dream I was following behind this very slow vehicle, I started to try to pass them..something I would never do on that road..it is too narrow besides it is not the kind of place where you would try that..all of a sudden a vehicle with a travel trailer comes up driving a long the side of the road at a high rate of speed..I clip the trailer since there wasn't enough room. I was horrified. They pulled off but I didn't see any damage. I hightailed it out of there..something I wouldn't be stupid enough to do in real life..but anyway, I was later in a restaurant a short distance away. (News flash in real life there aren't any.) I see the people who were old asking if anyone had seen me and gave a description. Of course they wanted to call in a friend who was an insurance adjuster. No one mentioned the police, but I bet they wanted to call them too. I was shrinking in my seat when I woke up. What a way to start a day!

@LadyDuck My heart wasn't racing, but I felt disturbed when I woke up.

Oh no, not a dream with an insurance adjuster in it, that sounds more like a nightmare. Harper asked me a very interesting question a few days ago about dreams. She wanted to know why some nights we dream and some nights we do not. I suggested that we always dream, but on some nights we are just so tired from playing that we sleep really good and we forget our dreams. She seemed to buy it.

I think we always dream but we do not remember that often.I dreamed right before I woke up and it was kind of disturbing so I remember

@Juliaacv Or if we are dreaming close to when we wake up, they are easier to remember.

@snowy22315 That is what I believe, we only remember the really great ones or the really bad ones if we dreamt them earlier in our sleep because the thoughts lingered.

What an odd dream. Maybe the heat is starting to get to you in your dreams. Or, maybe, that’s just me.

It had enough elements of realism in it to be frightening.
