Third day in a row of different genres, and third day in a row of an act I’ve seen live! That says a lot about seeing great music live, doesn’t it? It also says a lot about how crazy my music tastes are! Let’s see what the jukebox is going to play for us today. Rock This Town - Stray Cats Yep, saw ‘em at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, the same place I saw yesterday’s band (Dead Milkmen). Those were the days. I think Bogart’s is mostly metal bands now. Oh, well, so much for that. Most of you will know this one. The Stray Cats put rockabilly back on the map in the early 80s during the “roots rock” alternative to synth-heavy music. Heck, I liked both styles. Nothing like some Stray Cats after the Human League! So enjoy this 80s throwback to the 50s.
