A different day

Today was a different and uncommon day for me. I had to bring my car at SUZUKU service center for maintenance. I reached around 09:30 in the morning, and it's 14:42 on my side, and I am still waiting.
When I dropped the car, I was told the car would be ready by 15:35. So, I took a bus and went to the nearby mall for coffee and to work a little bit. I drove back to the service station few minutes ago.
My son is on second term holidays. It's the first day of his school holidays. I was thinking of spending time with him today, but this maintenance is taking too long. To make up for it, I bought a toy for him at the mall; hoping to surprise him when I reach home.
Luckily, I am getting free coffee as I wait here at the service station.
Lastly, one thing which I enjoyed today is the feeling of traveling by public bus. I missed this so much.

Car maintenance can take a long time. I hope everything is fine when they get your car back to you.
It is 6:30 am in my part of the US. I'm always awake all night and sleep during the daytime here. So far, I've done housework and have been reading a good fantasy book the rest of the night. I'll go to sleep around 9 am here.
I hope you have a good afternoon/evening and your son is happy with his new toy.

That's cool! I miss riding an ordinary bus, back in college. I really did feel that you enjoyed it.
