This year I have new neighbours at the caravan site.
The previous neighbours had been neighbours for almost 20 years and we were very good friends.
I was concerned that the new people would be noisy or not as friendly .....
I needn't have worried.
They are called Irene and Alan and they are lovely.
A little older than me and The Mister.
Alan loves antiques so he gets on with The Mister and Irene and I both do cross stitch
They also have a dog ....so definitely my sort of people.
We have exchanged phone numbers and are going to text when we are coming to the caravan in case we can arrange to be here at the same time.
We also are going to keep an eye on each others caravans ....
Yes, indeed they are lovely people and I feel lucky to have them as new neighbours.

It's certainly not guaranteed these days , that's why I was so worried, after being here for so long with great neighbours I didn't want to get bad neighbours now

It's always a relief when a change you were worried about turns out better than expected. It sounds like you have already found plenty in common, and having neighbours you trust to keep an eye on each other's caravans is a real bonus. I hope you end up making as many good memories with them as you did with your previous neighbours.

I hope so too. At the end of the season the neighbours the other side are leaving so I hope I will be as lucky with the newbies that side too.

Yes, that's what I thought ....bad neighbours would be a nightmare, and I have been here so long I wouldn't want my time here spoilt
