What's for din? July 20th, 2026

This is the first night in a few weeks that I felt like actually making a real whole meal. I have been winging it with fast food, take out, and just throw it into the oven. If you feel the need to judge me for that, I assure you my posts aren't for you. Anyway, I did oven baked bbq chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans and green beans for dinner tonight. Nothing too fancy or exciting, but it was pretty good. And there was protein in it! Win win. What did you have for dinner? @porwest , are you still around or did you vanish again?

I had another piece of pacific veggie pizza; fresh mushrooms, mozzarella cheese, onions, spinach… it was delicious.

Yummy. That sounds so good, and dare I say. Almost healthy.

That looks like one of those meals that's simple but really hits the spot. Sometimes a home-cooked dinner is exactly what you need after relying on takeout for a while. The leftovers are usually a bonus too.

My dinner was rice with shrimp in oyster sauce, egg rolls, and fried chicken wings. Of course, the vegetables weren't forgotten. By the way, dinner with the portion of food you showed, I definitely wouldn't be full, LOL
