I did it!

The last time I touched my crochet hooks was in February just before the big move.
Today, I stayed home and decided to unpack my yarns, hooks, stitch markers, and all the rest of my crochet materials.
I decided I should push myself to crochet again. And since I stayed all day, I had nothing else to do but to crochet.
I made a little mermaid amirugumi. Took me four hours to finish it which is longer than I used to. I felt like a beginner again. Had to redo some stitches and I was slower than I used to. I was a fast crochet.
Anyway I did it and my friend in France was so happy that he decided to go shopping for me again tonight. He'll find me some yarn holder and cute Eiffel tower scissors.

It's better to keep moving in this heat than setting still and crocheting. It's nice to cuddle up in the cooler months and crochet. Eiffel tower scissors sound interesting.

We had heavy rainstorm at around 3pm.
Had the ac on during the day when it was hot.

Let me see if the photos shows up here. My phone takes very high resolution photos and mylot has a limit so sometimes it doesn't show up unless I edit it which takes awhile to do so.
Well, first try to attach, it failed. Will try again later.
And finally, third attempt, it showed up.

That is very true. Now I have a goal in mind so I think I'll create more. Just need to find the time to do it more.

Thank you. It's Thursday here and it's gonna be busy at work so I'm not sure I have the time to create something today. I plan to make another mermaid but this time, with a darker skin tone.
