Hello everyone. I hope your day has been going well. It is 92 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The low for tonight is 62 and it will only be in the low 80s for the next several days so I will be able to keep the AC off and the windows open. My bank account will appreciate that! I was up early and then went back to bed for a couple of hours. I was up to hit the pool by 11:30am. I was the first person there. A few neighbors showed up but overall it was quiet. The lifeguard was someone I've never seen before. One guy had a bluetooth speaker like me and was playing music so it was like battle of the speakers for a few minutes. He asked me he wanted me to turn his off. I said I was happy to turn mine off. Then we got to listen to kiddie music for a couple of hours. It was fine though. They all have to listen to my random playlists on any other given day. Anyway I did a 4 hour shift today. I made sure to put leave-in conditioner in my hair when I got back as well as slathering myself in moisturizer. The sun and chlorine are taking their toll. It was a nice time though. I remember before they started charging for pool passes the place would be packed. Nope. Not any longer. That's worth the $50. I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew now. I have some cooking projects to get going on. I've really been slacking in that department. What's everyone else up to tonight?
