I made it home. Sore as hell. I slept this afternoon for about 4 hours. Woke up and my shirt was stuck to the clear bandage over the port. But it was all good. I was told I could take my Ibprofen/tylenol for pain, and have done so, but still hurts when I move my right arm. Throat is sore from the anesthesia. I went in at 5am and was out by noon. Came home and watched General Hospital LOL. No idea what was going on as I fell asleep at my desk. Got up and went to bed. I had left over pizza for supper. Still feel tired, I guess from the anesthesia. I was told I would be partially awake, but I do not even remember leaving the pre-op room. The doctor told me I have a clear bandage on the port so I can take a shower. But the nurse told me I had to wait 24hours At LEAST. We have a wedding to go to tomorrow, so glad to know I can take a shower. They will change the bandage I guess on Monday when I see the surgeon. So far it looks okay. Keeping an eye on it though. The brand of port they put in is the one that is being sued. So not letting anything get out of hand on it. Anyway...Thank you all for the prayers...I am doing good.
