It Was a Good Deal On Doughnuts - - Until They Weren't the Right Ones

I got an email from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts offering me a dozen blueberry glazed doughnuts for $5.00 with the purchase of any dozen assorted doughnuts.
That is a heck of a savings! And we hadn't had doughnuts in a while, so I stopped in there today.
Now hubby's and my favorite Krispy Kreme Doughnuts are the blueberry cruller cake ones with glaze on them. And that's how I had read the email - blueberry glazed doughnuts. I was excited.
But when I got them home they were actually just glazed doughnuts with the inner dough being blueberry.
They're okay, really they are, but they aren't what I thought I was getting. I should have read it more carefully.
What's your favorite doughnut? Or do you spell it donut?

We pronounce and spell it as donut here.
I cannot tell you how many years it has been since I have had a donut, I do not really like them, which is a thing based on how fattening they are.
Won't 2 dozen donuts last 2 people longer than they will be good for?
I do not know what their shelf life is, but it is a baked product, so probably not long.

I have not had regular donuts in a long time; I have become fond of berliners from Walmart, round donuts with a Bavarian crème filling and chocolate glaze.

I haven't had a donut in forever. Two dozen donuts is a lot of donuts--do you freeze some of them? I have had the blueberry donuts from Krispy Kreme, they really are good. My very favorite has to be apple cider donuts. I celebrate Fall every year by eating one of those if at all possible.
