Thanks to the teamwork of the Maryland State Police, Maryland Natural Resources Police, Maryland State Police Aviation Command, St. Mary's County Department of Emergency Services, Emergency Medical Services, St, Mary's County deputies and firefighters went to the Hollywood area of St. Mary's County on Friday of last week to rescue a nine year old boy with autism. The authorities found the nine year old boy in the water when St. Mary's County Deputy Matthew Camp jumped into the water and rescued the boy to take him to the shore where the boy was evaluated by medical staff. The boy was then reunited with his family. The boy is in good condition thanks to the efforts of the authorities. Link is wmar2news.com/local/southern...

Again parents who could care less that is what I think, The boy also should have known better at 9 and asked parents to take to the river,

You are right that the parents should have kept a sharper look at their child.

I am sure the boy got out of the house out of boredom or being curious.
