We left the house around noon to go to our friend's wedding. There were several times on the invitation and I thought it said 1pm. But No, it was Noon. BUT, we got to see them and take pictures with them. They invited us to lunch, but we went on to the AmVet Post to wait on them to come there for the reception. It was so good to see our friend. He has been in hospitals and rehabs with his leg amputation. I really missed going to the Post and seeing my friends. So it was a double happy day. They had some good food..healthy food. Cheese and crackers, fruit, broccoli, and watermelon. Their wedding cake was a nice looking double decker cake, but the cake inside was like eating strawberry shortcake. Yum! My Port hurt some, but Ibprofen got me through the day. Took a shower this morning and it felt soooo good. The nurse called me and told me to use ice packs to help with the swelling. It worked. Just a wonderful day all the way around.
