What is a short haircut for you?

For google and some people, a short haircut is a haircut above your shoulders and with my hair just a bit under my ears, i thought i had a short haircut but according to one hairdresser, my haircut was half long. She also showed me online super short haircuts and said this is short but i didn't comment it cause, if i did and i wanted to, badly, i would say, what can you honestly cut on a very short hair like that. She didn't charge me for half long (i made an appointment online) but if she did, i had to pay 12 euros and not 10 euros and that's just cutting my hair, not a single additional thing; maybe drying my hair but maybe not. She was cutting my hair already in a dry way, with no water sprinkled. Female haircuts are made in categories while male haircuts don't have that and boy, you're really happy. Also, if female haircuts are already in categories, then write precisley how long should it be in metric system, close to which part of the body and so on. Like this, with no right rules,i feel it's cheating.
