Amyra’s birthday was a few weeks ago, and she turned fifteen. This was her picture the day of her birthday party, and it was a good party, she said. She’s pretty grown up, but not really. I talked to her today on FaceTime, and she seemed to be having a better day than she had been the last couple weeks.

There is something about her that strikes me that she will be a very successful and well known lady.
And I will think back to these photos and think to myself, I remember her when........

She is simply beautiful. Fifteen is a hard age. You aren’t a kid, but you aren’t an adult. You’re still finding your way. She has a loving family and incredible artistic talent. I think she will continue to grow into a strong woman with definite goals. Happy belated birthday, Amyra!
