My so-called self-defined "work" hours ended an hour ago, but I've been on the move adulting. I took out trash, collected mail, and did some other things. I even filled the fridge for George and I. I even ordred us dinner, too.
I did a lot more today than I thought I'd do, but all par for the course as they say. And, I don't feel as stressed. I love it when I have a good productive day.

Trust me it wasn't all fun and games. I had chores that I hate doing, but need doing. But, they're done and out of the way.

@tech40 Yes, I know. ANd, I wasn't refering to paid work but housework that I don't like to do. Like emptying the dryer when George parks the van kinda tight. Or going out in the heat to take the trash and or recycling down to the curb for pickup. Hand washing dishes.

@kaylachan I agree, especially when we're talking about a job that requires us to do something even though we're not having fun. At the end of the day, that is the reason why we're getting paid.

It's a term that means when we do things we might not want to do, but have to do. Like wash the dishes, mop the floor, clean the house, pay the bills, and so on.
