Well, our doctor appointment went well. / myLot

I made an appointment for George to get his anual check-in that usually includes blood work and the whole nine yards. His weight was a little low, but still in the tripple digits. His doctor was happy for that, too. He proudly showed the stoma site and that his tube was gone. The doctor confirmed it healed over nicely. We got refills on his meds and went over the list. The best part... he doesn't have to come back until next year instead of six months from now. We're doing good on that front. He got me food and a slurpee and now he's back watching more t.v. Couldn't have gone better if we planned it and I got free cookies because someone was giving them away.

Great stuff Kayla A sure sign he is doing ok is when they don't want to see him again for a year instead of 6 months I'm sure his weight will be more in a years time than it was today Well done George, and you too Kayla

Now that I think about it, his last weight was 117, and today it was 102. While I was concerned at first, I also remember that he weighed 117 back in october. And, that makes a difference. It's a lot of weight to loose, but it was over eight months or so.

@Ineeddentures surprisingly, no. He looked over George's history of weights, and was sasitified that he's maintaining a normal-for-him weight. If it dropped below 100 pounds, I am sure he would raise the alarm.
