Have you ever been camping ?

The two times I went camping in a tent, it rained. And I guess the tent was cheap because one of the girls in the tent with me, kicked the side of it while sleeping, and water rushed in. We spent the rest of the night listening to the rain hit the top of the church van we drove to the campsite. It only amuses me now.

I did as a kid. It wasn't easy for me. I'll take my rv anyday over a tent.

I have but every time I went to back to the house or car because freaking cold. Military never did that, different kind of camping but was never cold either. There was one time in military bootcamp refused to get up because was so cold, but heard these fools from miles around. I was laughing so hard, Sergeant was like f this, my girls shriveled or some crap. I found it funny, I slept 12 hours and my rack mate had watch and was bored and woke me up its your turn, no one is coming go to sleep. Its California, no one attacks California in the cold. He literally started crying, I was like fine. Its like military games but as soon as he went to sleep they came and I blasted all of them. I kind of felt guilty all blanks but leadership goes see, that's how the enemy can get you. You cold and bored and want to sleep, we did it right right when we thought you would snap at each other, you paid just enough attention to stop the attack. These are not meant to be perfect but perfect enough where we can defend our homeland. Now they do not teach any of that kind of training human error be perfect every time.

@traceyjayne When I was 13 our family went on a camping holiday for 3 months in Malawi, Mozambique, Rhodesia and South Africa. Quite to trip.

Nah..never went camping. Never had that experience

I did with my family. I don't like sleeping in the small tent. I end up sleeping outside the tent. Glad it didn't rain at that time.

Yes, we camped a lot in a tent in our younger years. In fact, it was a trip to the beach with our three girls that ended tent camping, which was my husband's decision. He can't stand sand and the tent was naturally full of sand with three young kids..even with the foot bath at the door of the tent! Enjoy and make those memories!!
