What is Carnivore?
First, I want to say that carnivore is not a fad diet. It is not unhealthy. It's not going to make me fatter. On the contrary, it is going to fix a lot of health issues. It's the way people ate way back in the day before all the crap was added to people's diets.
Carnivore is a diet consisting of any food that comes from an animal. So most of that is meat. Any ruminant animal is included too; beef, sheep, goats, bison, elk, venison, moose, antelope, etc. Other animals too - like pig (pork), chicken, turkey, etc. Even seafood can be included.
Dairy is also something that can be included, although some have issues from that. I hope I can include dairy because I love cheese.
Don't forget the eggs, they are allowed and very good for you.
Should I share a whole list of foods specifically in the future?
Anyways - what are some of the benefits of eating this way?
Weight loss, reduced inflammation, improving insulin resistance, and a whole lot more.
You will put your body in ketosis which is burning fat instead of sugar for energy.
And while the body needs glucose (a small amount) it can make it from non-carbohydrate foods (like protein).
You may also say that you will miss out on certain vitamins and minerals? Well meat, eggs, butter, they all have a lot of the vitamins and minerals you need. They are more nutrient dense, in fact.
Another thing to note; it is not bad for the kidneys or liver.
If you want to a hear a doctor talk about all these things in detail, here is a Youtube Video where a doctor who eats this way answers a bunch of questions.

@Ineeddentures Well it is going to go how fast it is going to go lol. I expect to lose quite a bit of water weight at first, possibly a lot of my extra weight is water weight... and that always comes off quick. To lose a good amount of weight, yeah I know that will take time.
and I will probably need to eat this way for life, with of course a couple days of carbs a month probably, eventually I may not even care about carbs. Just the addiction talking right now.

I like meat a lot and eggs as well.
I'm not really particular what nutrients I can get with it in detailed. So I like how informative this discussion is.
