I went to the kitchen to get some pineapple and saw that the letters "OOF" were up next to my friend's name. She said it meant "out of facility". During intake they take your temperature, your blood pressure, your pulse/ox, and your blood alcohol level. For reference--in most states if it is 0.08 or higher you are considered under the influence and will be arrested for DWI if you get busted by the cops. The one guy I know from before arrived Monday night and his was something like 0.28. By the next morning it was 0.22. I can't even imagine what this guy's is. He once told me the highest it was measured during one ER visit was 0.35. I have no idea how he survived that. The first guy spent just a couple of hours at the hospital and then was discharged. With this one it could go either way. It may be a short visit or it may be a couple of days. I hope it is a short visit. I know he hates being in the hospital.
