To absolutely nobody’s surprise, we have this guy at the top spot. And this song. Sometimes I can surprise the daylights out of you. This is not one of those instances. We will unplug the jukebox after this great song. #1: Harbor Lights - Boz Scaggs Yeah, see you tomorrow. Seriously, you know I love Boz, and you know I love this song. That gorgeous voice, and those haunting lyrics that take you “back to some Jamaican bay,” even if you’ve never been to one. And then he closes it out with some sweet jazz, like the jukebox just took over! It’s hard to believe that Silk Degrees is 50 years old now. On the other hand, it’s not that difficult. This album has stood the test of time very well. Give me another 50 years and I’ll still be listening to it. Thanks for reading.
