I was standing at the window watching a boat being loaded onto the moving thing when I noticed a blimp up in the sky. I don't know much about them (my ex called them "zeppelins") aside from the fact that the Hindenburg crashed in Lakehurst back in 1937 due to it being filled with hydrogen gas. I live very close to Lakehurst.
Anyway the Goodyear blimp was going by but then it started to turn so I thought it was going back but it wound up just circling and circling and getting lower. I was afraid that it was going to crash into the water. Eventually it landed on the Atlantic City boardwalk. I texted my ex and he sent me a flight tracker image for it.
It landed, took off again and did another big circle, and then just landed again. Maybe they are taking people for rides on it. I don't know. It was pretty cool to see it though.

Yeah, zeppelins and New Jersey don’t have a good history together.
Seriously, that is cool that you got an up-close look at it. It’s here every year for the Kentucky Derby, but I’ve never seen it up close. I rarely see it in the air because I’m usually out of town when Derby Week rolls around.
