Those fighting foxes !

Last night I was trying to get to sleep, but every time I was just about to nod off I was rudely woken by a loud screeching noise. I ignored it the first couple of times, as I was cosy in bed and trying to sleep. Then it got too loud to ignore and seemed to be getting closer. Three times I got out of bed and walked round to the window ….i could see nothing in the street at all. Back in bed ….all was quiet ….thank goodness …. Then …. The screeching started again ….. I stayed at the window longer this time and that’s when I saw them ….two foxes ….chasing and fighting. No wonder there was a lot of noise. Anyway, nothing I could do. If I went out to them they would only run off together and carry on fighting in the next street …..and I still wouldn’t get any sleep. I just had to wait …..almost 15 minutes ….until they had finished . I was pleased when it went quiet ….. but ….was worried incase it meant, well bad news for one of the foxes ! Do fighting animals keep you awake at night ?
