Just Call Me Bugsy

Well that eye doctor appointment didn't go as planned. As if I needed yet another thing to be wrong with me and yet another prescription. Sigh. I have mites in my eyelashes. They're called collarettes. Apparently it's very common but unless the mites overproduce most people never realize they have it. Both my eye doctor and the internet say that eyelash mites are naturally present on human skin and are not caused by poor hygiene. But damn, it's just always one more thing for me.

I know what you mean about the ''one more thing.'' I hope you can get this cleared up quickly.

I had heard that mites are just about everywhere and only become a problem when the numbers jump for some reason

When my sister was little she had Blepharitis which was some kind of infection in her eyelashes. She had to take an antibiotic for it. The eyelashes kind of looked like that though.
