When The Harvest Made Me Teary-Eyed

When it's season, these three kinds of fruits— Rambutan, Durian and Mangosteen reminds me of my elder sister. Whenever it's the harvest time of my elder sister fruit tree's my nephew and niece never miss to drop by at home and shared the harvested fruits. Even though my sister is no longer with us they never forgotten what their mother was like when she was still alive. As I deeply missed her and the feeling of gratitude felt overwhelming that made me tear up. T T I guess, until the season of this fruit isn't over I'll be a crybaby. Lol! Another batch of fruits will be enjoyed at home. PS. I can't eat durian because I dislike it's pungent smell except if it is ice cream or candy, I'm okay with it. Photo was from a year before my sister passed away. That was the last fruit she personally delivered to me.

I'm sorry for your loss. I am glad that your niece and nephew continue to bring you the fruit, though. It must be comforting even through the tears.

No wonder you were sentimental receiving the fresh harvested fruits. I don’t like the smell of durian either, not even the ice cream of this fruit. I love mangosteen though.
