Who is getting ready for Halloween? No? Me either!!
But I noticed Halloween candy already out on the entire aisle the other day at Dollar General. Can you believe it?
I know I have posted on this last year too, but they get earlier and earlier every year!!
Do you have Halloween candy out in stores in your area already too?
I suspect Christmas decor will be out very soon too! Ack!

@Deepizzaguy Probably won't be any. You will be paying more for smaller size candy or bags of candy. It's pathetic.

Halloween isn't a big thing here since we only copied that from the western culture. But we normally don't celebrate it. So no halloween candies in sight yet.

@kareng Yeah, fortunately. But Christmas starts as early as September here.

We see the fun sized chocolate bars come out at this season.
I believe that it is a push for the back to school, which is the day after Labour Day, as some parents keep these treats on hand for lunches and after school snacks. but none of them have the Halloween theme to them.
The Actual Halloween themed candy will not come out until after the back to school, which is usually mid-September. They usually lead in September with Thanksgiving, which is the second Monday of October here. So that first before Halloween, and then on November 1st, they break out the Christmas suff.

It should not be out so early, that’s crazy. To me, September first is early enough. Although, I don’t mind when Christmas items come out at the same time as Thanksgiving. We only have a month to celebrate Christmas so it doesn’t bother me that both come out at the same time. Unfortunately, they tend to put Christmas out before Halloween Is over. Which is ridiculous.

Yeah, they're putting out things way to early--but they want the consumer to get to thinking about it so they'll spend their money!

I have been getting emails from Michaels that they have their Halloween decor in stores. No I'm not decorating this early. Although I do like that Walmart has the pumpkin spice creamers out now.

Not thinking about that yet …way too early. Our schools have just broken up for Summer holidays.

I noticed that when I went into Walgreens yesterday.
I will start buying up stuff for the kdis Halloween baskets. For all the "candy" related holidays, I always make them baskets with like a couple candies, a drink they like, a couple other snacks and maybe an activity for she child and a gift card or fishing thing for he child.
