Take a tour with me #3: PHP Houses

These are the sober living houses on the main campus. There is a men's one and a women's one. They are directly across from The Residence. They are step 3 in the treatment progression if you do it all. Some people jump straight from detox to PHP. That's what I did this time. The rooms are doubles and each one has its own bathroom. There are laundry machines and dryers. There is a tech here 24/7 who supervises things, makes sure people are coming and going as they are allowed, and who gives us access to our meds. We spend 8am-3:30pm at the main house so we have breakfast and lunch there. They send over meal kits for us to make dinner. We also have a running grocery list to order other items that we want. They have to be organic or the shopper won't get them. Sundays are our day off where we can do what we want. The tech usually arranges some kind of activity. Today they are going to see a movie. Once you reach a certain status level you can leave campus with other residents or someone not in the program. We can have electronics from the time we return until 11pm. That is a HUGE change from detox and resi. This place is really nice. You'd never know where it was located or who was staying here if someone didn't tell you.
