Sunny Monday

It is a sunny dawn to the day here today.
That is a refreshing change from the past couple of days. Yesterday was pouring rain here. We got alot of rain. But there is more coming mid-week. It seems like August is starting off on the wet side for our region.
Otherwise the typical August weather is settling in, mid to high 20's, more mid than high. The worst of the summer's heat has passed us for this season.
I have been very slow on the site this past day or so. And I apologize for this. Somehow the settings on the computer must have upgraded or downgraded because when I come to the site the page is almost completely full of ads. I know that the site needs ads, but when it takes over the complete screen, the ads are more harmful than helpful. I do not know how to reduce them to a tolerable size or amount of ads-anyone have any suggestions?
It is a 'holiday' Monday here-Civic Day. I am not too sure how one celebrates such a holiday, but not working is doing it for me.

@Ineeddentures I have, but I don't really like chrome as much as I do edge.

We had a bit of rain yesterday. It's currently raining here at the moment. We're supposed to get quite a bit today.
I know it's a holiday for some places in Canada. Not here in Quebec as far as I know. It's another day of work for me. Hopefully it means it's not too busy.

Glad your week started off well especially since you didn't have to work.
It's Tuesday already and I'm a slacker. Had a busy day yesterday and didn't have much time to spend here. We have sun here today but like you it looks like rain in the upcoming days.

@Marilynda1225 For me, knowing that they are numbered, makes it richer.
I would however, love to freeze the harvest weather, we have fresh apricots, yellow plum, peaches and sweetcorn. I do love this time of the year.

It is always such a huge relief when the hottest part of the summer, with those extreme temperatures is behind us. That is how I am feeling the past couple of weeks. I can actually enjoy being outside, tending to the flowers and not just watering and deadheading them out of necessity.
They are actually forecasting an early autumn and hard (again) winter for our region. I can feel a slight hint of autumn in the air already. The 'hottest' part of the day is shorter lived and we often can feel a breeze, we do not get that during the summer time. I hope that comes to your area.
