What a family! There is a story coming out of a small southeastern Ohio town about a family with 16 children. The adults are Gary Sr.(70s), Christine (60s), Gary Jr. (30s) and Elizabeth(30s). Police were visiting the home regarding another matter (Gary Jr. had been charged four different times in May with exposing himself) and found the house in deplorable shape (trash, fesis and etc. all over.) and in one 12 x 12 room were 16 children ages ranging from a year and a half to 18. The four adults were arrested with 16 counts each of child endangerment, and the 16 children were put in foster homes. Authorities want to take the parents parental rights away immediately. During the intake to jail it showed Gary Sr. in a wheelchair, and they think he had had a stroke -- is in very poor health, Christine was okay, Gary Jr. had shackles, leg irons and handcuffs, while Elizabeth had no handcuffs or irons of any kind. She seems rather paranoid and unsure of what was going on She was hutched over and look around as if unsure of her surroundings. The children are comprised of 3 sets of twins and 10 single births. She(Elizabeth?) had conjoined twins that died early on. So that is 14 births since 2008. Nearly one a year. (Must have been hard on her body.) Elizabeth and Gary Jr. went to West Virginia to get married back in 2008(laws prohibited their marriage in Ohio since she was only 15 and he was 18) and she was 7 months along at that time. What a mess. The authorities who arrived on the scene said the kids were in horrible shape, 2 had to be airlifted to a hospital and were in critical condition. Many of them were non-verbal and the eldest was said to not be able to write her name. They were malnourished, emaciated and filthy. The room they were in was full of trash and feces. Remember the Turpin family in 2018? In watching some other videos about the case, I learned that authorities say this happens a lot all around the world. You know with my curiosity I will be doing a deep dive into this case. I have so many questions. Stay tuned.

I read that the mother's attorney asked for a full mental evaluation of her. All she seemed to be worried about was asking about her kids when he first met her

I wonder if Gary Jr. Is manipulating her. A woman working in a Dollar Tree said he would lead her around by her elbow while in the store. Weird stuff.
