There are 2 yurts on the main campus here at the day spa. A yurt is, well, I don't even know how to describe it. Think of a mini version of a circus big top structure. One of them is called the "art yurt". That is where they do art therapy and the poetry sessions. There are also a couple of counselor offices in there too. I don't spend much time there because I'm rarely assigned art therapy. I do my best to avoid the poetry groups. The other yurt is called the "yoga yurt". It is not exclusive to yoga though. They do singing bowls, tai chi, meditation, and reiki there too. It is air conditioned so it is comfortable in there even on hot days. The very top has a clear opening (I assume plastic) to let natural light in. Today I was laying there just watching the clouds drift by while listening to the sound bowls. It was very peaceful. Of course after that viral fast food order video there's always someone who yells "yurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt!" whenever a counselor starts giving out assignments. P.S. I was finally able to upload pictures of the ropes course

There was a series on HGTV about yurts. The ones in your picture look more homey.
