My Upcoming Trip Isn’t Looking Good

I leave for Munich in four days. They’re having a heatwave again in Europe in all of the places I’ll be visiting. It was over 100F degrees in many places today
But here’s the main problem. There hasn’t been any rain. The water levels are very low in the Danube River. My trip is supposed to be a Danube River Cruise but that’s looking pretty unlikely because the boats can’t navigate a dry river bed or an extremely low water table
There’s no cancelation policy. If the boat can’t take us we’re stuck riding in tour busses and staying in hotels. The logistics are awful and not at all relaxing
So please do a rain dance or pray for rain along the Danube for me, please.

Europe has really been pounded with the heatwaves lately. I hope you get to take your river cruise.

@looeyville In Italy people have been strongly advised to stay indoors between 11 am and 6 pm. I go to Pisa in 3 weeks. England’s heat wave is set to end today with the promise of torrential rain and thunder storms.

Since there is a no cancelation policy, do they allow rescheduling? What you describe does not sound scenic or relaxing, I agree. It would have to rain a LOT to raise the water levels enough for a cruise boat.

I don't fancy busses tours lol
It's going to need a lot of rain and very quickly
Hope it does rain enough for you
But I don't think it will
