My mother and I watched Abigail. It is a Russian movie. We watched it on Tubi. It is also on Plex, Roku Channel, Fawesome, and Prime. It has Tinatin Dalakishvili, Gleb Bochkov, Ravshana Kurkova, Artyom Tkachenko, Rinal Mukhametov, Kseniya Kutepova, Eddie Marsan, and Marta Kessler in it. Big Warning: there is lots of violence and one very sad part. Semi-spoiler below. This movie is a steampunk movie. In this movie, a man named Jonathan has a daughter named Abigail. They live in a village that has a border around it. No one has gone beyond the border. There is a supposedly plague going on and there are military men checking to see if anyone has it. But the plague doesn't really exist. Anyway, Abigail's father is captured by those men and they say he is infected. He goes missing for many years. Abigail is very certain that her father is still alive and wants to go to find him. She also finds out she is special and that there is no plague. In the end, she finds love and defeats the bad guy who has imprisoned everyone. My mother and I loved this movie. We are watching another movie called Abigail.
