It's more serious than I thought

"It's 3:07 p.m. I'm already at work, but my mind's been elsewhere today. A few hours ago, I called my mum to check on my stepdad and ask when he might be discharged. Sadly, they still don't know. What he's going through is more serious than we thought.
He hasn't been able to eat or walk, and the doctors have had to run several tests before they can determine the right treatment. Until those results come back, there's no clear timeline for when he'll be discharged.
I'm keeping him in my prayers and hoping for good news soon. I'll be going to the hospital to check on him when I can. For now, I'm here at work, hoping the rest of today goes well.

I hope the rest of your day goes well and your stepdad just needs some vitamins or minerals added to his diet. Good luck to him!

I know that’s scary when a loved one is going through things like that and you have no clue of what’s happening or how long it’ll take to find out. Praying for him…and you and the rest of the family.
