No Turkey for my baguette today !

I met Mom at Lidl this morning as she wanted to get some of the juice she likes ….
Whilst there we got a chicken ….not sure when we will have that but it was a nice one and a good price.
We then went to Morrisons to do the usual shop …..we had a voucher for money off to use which was useful.
We also got a duck as that was on special offer ….that may be for The Misters Birthday dinner…..
But ……and this made me say out loud …..” oh no ! “…….
There was no Turkey !
We had some roast pork instead , which was delicious….
I still had it on the baguette though …..

I really want to try duck!
I got a good nap, and am now trying to catch up on Mylot. It’s only a little past noon though so there is a lot of time left to get things done.@Traceyjayne (12809)

It’s just after 7pm here ….
I’m just using some of my basil and tomatoes and courgettes for tea …..using them for the sauce to go with chicken and potatoes ….i had it last week and it was yummy.

I'm sure roast pork would have been a delicious alternative to turkey.
