Today I saw two priests who were from one of our northern states and had come here by his elephant.
A fruit seller gave some bannas to the elephant who held them by his trunk, raised his trunk and the priest sitting on it recived them.
The fruit seller then gave two apples and the elephant gave them to the priest.
Another priest was walking along the road with the elephant.
And then the priest walking along the road with the elephant on the road committed a fatal mistake.
When a man extended some bananas , the priest walking with the beast held them, and gave it directly to the priest sitting above.
This was too much for the beast. The next second he caught the priest standing near him, raised him over his head and threw him on the road.
The shopkeepers were afraid and speechless. The next second the beast trampled him and ran away from the place.
The priest trampled under feet of the elephant was dead. The other priest sitting on the elephant jumped from the elephant and fled away
What happened after that was even more surprising. The beast running from streets disappeared.
People told me that he stopped in front of the police station as if he was admitting he had murdered a man.

Well that's what happen when people try to tame wild animals. They are animals at the end of the day.

@kaylachan Yes, and this accident was caused by the unintentional stupidity of the priest walking along with the elephant.

Thank you. Nobody has the courage to go near the angry beast. All the shoppers left their shops and so did the people looking all this painful accident.

Thank you. Elephants do such things, but only when a man teased them intentionally or unintentionally. The priest should have let the beast recieve the bananas and hand over it to the priest riding it.

Thank you. I wonder how he knew where the police station is. I think it was just a coincidence. I don't know what the police did when they saw him right in front of the police station.

Strange and interesting story. Elephants have a good memory.

@Shivram59 That's true. Most animals don't hurt unless they feel insecure or they are hurt.

@aninditasen Yes. Even maneater tigers don't attack humans unless they become incapable of having their natural prey. I've read it in books by Jim Corbett and Kenneth Anderson.

Thank you. Elephant is a wise animal. Unless he is hurt or teased or gone berserk, he never attacks anybody.

Thank you. Actually the elephant had no I'll intentions about the priest The animal simply wanted to hand over the bananas to the priest sitting above the elephant. This enraged the elephant. I was not there. It is unknown what happened to the animal and the other priest

Thank you. But it is not shame. It happened just because the priest didn't know the nature of elephants.
