So, as you know The Mister works away from Monday to Friday. At the moment he is not far from Loch Lomond in Scotland. I am hoping to go with him for a week, maybe more …..but I’m wondering, the days will be my own ( he will be working for most of the days ), so what can I do there ….,anyone know ?

You say Loch Lomond and all I can think about is the Loch Ness Monster.

a lot can be done.. strolling, going to the beach, catching up with friends on your phone, getting to know the town or just watching TV..

Bring several books, magazines to read and enjoy a laid back week. Read, rest, go for a walk, take a nap, read some more, etc. Oh and maybe shop some too!

Stay in a place that has a pool and just enjoy the day.

I won’t have much of a say in where we stay as I will be with The Mister and his work partner. It has to be near where they are working ….

I'm sure there is a lot of information on the web or Jim would be able to give you some advice.

Yes I have been there in 2013. And yes we sang the Loch Lomond song on the bus on the way there.

@traceyjayne You can compete with millions of tourists for room on the pavements. We stayed there for 2 nights last September - pretty area but 2 nights was long enough. Boat trips are available around the loch from the town centre.
