Lately I have this sudden flashback of my teenage years, I think it's because of all those video and music on social media that trigger the old memories. A little bit of sadness and regrets "tickled" my heart. I think I have lost 80% of my oldself, I miss them. I am 40 now, is it too late to re-discover my oldself while I am also struggling with my current self?

I think you can find part of the old you - the best parts - and incorporate them into your current self. Perhaps part of you is gone, but I like to think that’s to prepare yourself for the better part of you now.
It’s important to “feel your feelings”, but don’t let them mess up the possibilities of today.

When I was still a teenager, always want to be an adult. Now, I wish I can be in my teen again

i'm almost 40 too and i feel noatalgic as well to some years of my life that will never come back. i also wanted to grow up fast and i feel sorry that i wanted that at all. i guess overthinking does that and tough times around us, in the world and so on.
