Good Saturday morning myLotters. I have been out and am back home again, and it is only just 8am now. I have a doctor's appointment later this month, so had a requisition for lab work. The lab that I attend is the only one open on Saturdays in the city-so you can imagine just how busy they get on those days. I had booked an appointment for next week, but with the weather the way that it has been (rainy) I didn't want to chance having to stand outside in the rain to get into the office. This office people wait outside and arrive long before the staff do. Even if you have an appointment, the walk in's that arrive ahead of you get taken before. I was second in and first out. When I left it was wall to wall people, the cubicles were full and the waiting room was also and there was a line up for people to check in. There is a Tim Hortons across the parking lot, so a quick stop there for my coffee and then across the parking lot to get a couple of things from the grocery store and back home again. It is an overcast day here, the forecast is calling for rain later on, we shall wait and see. Our son, his wife and the twins came home yesterday from their 2 week vacation. They are all in vacay mode and sleeping in late, so will likely not hear from them until this afternoon or this evening. We both miss them, especially the twins.
